To help protect your account against unauthorized access, Namhost uses browser validation when you log in.
Upon signing in, our system checks whether your browser already has a valid verification cookie stored. If it does not, or if the stored value is not valid, we send a one-time PIN (OTP) to your registered email address. You are then required to submit this OTP before you can access your account.
This adds an important extra layer of protection. Even if someone manages to obtain your Namhost login details, they still will not be able to access your account unless they also have access to your email address.
Browser validation is a widely used security measure and helps reduce the risk of unauthorized access to your account.
You may be asked to complete this verification again when using a new browser or device, or if your browser cookies have been cleared.
