You can now request an EPP Key directly from your Namhost client area, without needing to open a support ticket.
An EPP Key is typically required when transferring a domain name to or from another provider.
Steps to request your EPP Key
- Log in to your Namhost account at https://www.namhost.com/login
- Once logged in, click on the “Domains” menu item
- Select the domain you want to manage
- Click Request EPP Key
- Click Send OTP to My Email
- Once you receive the OTP, submit it
- Click Verify OTP and Reveal EPP Key
Your EPP Key will then either be displayed on screen or sent to your email address, depending on the type of domain and transfer process.
Important to note:
Not all domain extensions support EPP Keys. For example, .za domains do not use EPP Keys for transfers.
If you do not see the Request EPP Key option for your domain, it usually means that the selected TLD does not support EPP Keys.
