With the referral program, you can share your unique Namhost referral link or referral code. When a qualifying new customer signs up and makes a successful purchase through your referral, you may earn commission on that sale.

How the Namhost Referral Program Works

1. Use your Namhost referral link or referral code.
   Eligible Namhost account holders receive a referral code that can be used to refer new customers.
2. Share Namhost with your network.
   You can recommend Namhost to clients, colleagues, friends, website owners, developers, entrepreneurs, agencies, or anyone who needs reliable hosting and domain services.
3. A new customer signs up and completes a qualifying purchase.
   When the purchase meets the referral program requirements, the referral can be attributed to your account.
4. You earn commission.
   Commission is calculated on qualifying amounts actually received by Namhost, excluding VAT, refunds, chargebacks, discounts, credits, and payment processing fees.

What Can You Earn?

The base referral commission structure is:

The key advantage is that commission on eligible hosting services is recurring. That means it is not limited to the first order only. Where the referred customer remains active, pays successfully, and the transaction continues to meet the referral program requirements, you may continue earning commission on recurring hosting subscriptions.

Namhost may also, at its discretion, award a once-off promotional first-order referral bonus credit of R500.00 for qualifying referral-driven purchase events. This bonus is promotional in nature and subject to the referral program terms.

What Counts as a Qualifying Referral?

A referral generally qualifies when a new customer uses your referral link or referral code, completes a successful purchase within the applicable tracking window, passes fraud and compliance checks, and the transaction is not refunded, reversed, or charged back.

The referral program uses a 30-day tracking window. In general, commission is awarded on a last-valid-click basis, meaning the most recent valid referral interaction before the customer’s purchase is used for attribution.

As with any referral or affiliate program, some exclusions apply. Refunded transactions, chargebacks, bot traffic, incentivised traffic, duplicate or fake accounts, and test transactions do not qualify for commission.

Getting Paid

Commission becomes available only after the relevant review and holding periods have passed.

Once your available commission balance reaches the minimum payout threshold of R1,000 or N$1,000, you may request a payout through the affiliate dashboard. Payments are made by electronic funds transfer to a valid and verified bank account in South Africa or Namibia, held in the affiliate’s name.

Valid withdrawal requests are generally processed within seven business days, provided all verification and compliance requirements have been met.

Promote Namhost Responsibly

The referral program is built for genuine recommendations. Affiliates must promote Namhost honestly, accurately, and responsibly.

This means:

• Clearly disclosing your referral or affiliate relationship when sharing links or codes
• Avoiding misleading claims about pricing, services, support, or features
• Not using spam, bots, fake traffic, cookie stuffing, hidden redirects, or deceptive marketing
• Not presenting yourself as a Namhost employee, agent, partner, or official representative
• Following Namhost’s brand and intellectual property rules
