N$30 000 in Cash Prizes Up for Grabs!

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Namhost Internet Services (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (Registration No. 2016/492550/07) with its principal place of business at 24 Black Eagle Road, Onrus, Hermanus, 7201, Western Cape, South Africa.

2. Prizes

The following cash prizes will be awarded:

• Bi-weekly prizes: N$2,500 each, drawn on 15 October 2025, 29 October 2025, 12 November 2025, and 26 November 2025.
• Grand prize: N$20,000, drawn on 1 December 2025.

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or substitutable.

3. Eligibility

• Open only to individuals who hold South African or Namibian nationality.
• Entrants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.
• The winner must be able to receive the prize via a valid Namibian or South African bank account.
• Not eligible: employees of Namhost or Teruza, and their immediate family members.
• Clients, suppliers, partners, or other individuals professionally connected with Namhost and/or Teruza may enter.

4. How to Enter

• Only entries officially submitted via https://www.namhost.com/competition will be considered valid.
• Each entry submitted into the competition counts as one chance in the random draw. The more entries you collect, the higher your chances of winning.
• Participants may upload videos as part of their entry. To be valid:
  • Videos must be in English.
  • Videos must try and entice others to enter the competition.
  • Namhost reserves the right to moderate videos. Irrelevant, offensive, or non-compliant videos will not count as valid entries and such entries will be deducted before the draw.
  • Entrants grant Namhost the right to use uploaded videos for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, marketing campaigns, and future Namhost promotions.
• No purchase is necessary to enter.

5. Competition Period

• Opens on 1 October 2025.
• The last day of entries is 30 November 2025. Entries close at 23:59 (midnight) on this date. No late entries will be accepted.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

• Winners will be selected at random using Namhost’s automated software. The process is completely random, weighted only by the number of valid entries each participant has accumulated.
• Bi-weekly winners will be announced on the following dates: 15 October, 29 October, 12 November, and 26 November 2025.
• The grand prize winner will be selected on 1 December 2025 and announced once we have made contact with the winner.
• Namhost will attempt to contact winners via the details provided at entry.
• Winners must respond within 7 days of first contact. If a winner cannot be reached or fails to respond in time, Namhost reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select another winner.

7. Prize Delivery

• Prize money will be paid via electronic transfer into the winner’s valid South African or Namibian bank account.
• Payments will be made within 14 days after the official announcement of winners.
• Proof of identity (valid ID or passport) and an official bank confirmation letter in the winner’s name will be required before the prize is awarded.
• It is therefore EXTREMELY important that entrants provide their correct, legal name when entering.
• If any tax or legal obligation applies to the prize money, it is the sole responsibility of the winner to declare and settle such obligations. However, in both South Africa and Namibia, cash winnings from competitions are generally not subject to income tax. Entrants should seek independent tax advice if uncertain.

8. Disqualification

Namhost reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

• provides false or misleading information,
• enters multiple times using different or spoofed email addresses, false identities, or automated systems,
• is suspected of attempting to manipulate or cheat the entry process in any way,
• submits videos or content that breach these Terms & Conditions,
• breaches these Terms & Conditions in any other manner.

Entrants found guilty of such actions will be disqualified from this competition and from all future Namhost competitions.

9. Publicity

By entering the competition, participants consent to Namhost using their name, likeness, photograph, and/or submitted videos for promotional purposes related to this competition, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. Data Protection

Personal information collected will be used solely for administering this competition and in accordance with applicable South African and Namibian data protection laws.

11. Liability

Namhost, its directors, employees, or affiliates shall not be held responsible for any technical failures, lost entries, or delays beyond its control, or for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by entrants arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Platform Disclaimer

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Apple, or any other third-party platform used to promote or facilitate entries. Participants understand that they are providing their information to Namhost, not to Facebook, Apple, or any other platform.

13. General

• Namhost reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
• The judges’/software’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Entrants agree that any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
