Namhost owns several dedicated servers and each server hosts several websites. In other words, when you sign up for shared hosting you are one of several users on one server. Does this affect our users negatively? Not at all! We manage the servers in such a way that no one server is ever overloaded. Users that abuse the server are quickly banned.

Reseller Hosting
A Reseller Hosting account has the extra benefit of being able to create sub-accounts. In other words, if you have 25 Gigs of space, you can create 25 x 1Gig Accounts, or 50 x 500Mb Accounts. Basically, you have the extra benefit of being able to create and manage sub accounts. You will also be able to edit DNS entries of domains hosted on your Reseller Account.
Our reseller hosting is also shared hosting in the sense that depending on the size of your reseller hosting package, you might be on the same server as another reseller. Furthermore, as all the accounts you create are on the same server, you in turn will be selling shared hosting.
